It scans the open web to find faces that match the photo you upload. Picture a background check that does not require a social security number. All it takes is a selfie. We decided to put this platform through the wringer to see if it actually works. Is it the real deal, or just another gimmick? FaceCheck ID is aspecialized search enginededicated entirely to facial recognition. Google Images looks for similar colors or shapes. This engine, on the other hand, analyzes the geometry of a face.
